Italy

After Beijing and Hong Kong, Florence was the next city outside the United States in which I spent considerable amount of time. I spent most of my time there studying Italian. Unfortunately, since then my Italian has deteriorated quite badly.
Still, many places in Italy remain among my favorite anywhere. While I was there, I studied for six weeks in Florence, home of some of the most famous works of Renaissance art and architecture in Italy. Though I did not travel very much in Italy, I spent a few days in Venice, Sienna, Pisa, and Rome. I am still waiting for the day that someone says, "Pack your bags we need you to work in Italy." If only the Italians would build an LCD fab, I would have the excuse I need.
